As a stay at home mother of a four year old, I don't get to work as much as I would like to. If I'm lucky with childcare, I get 2-3 days in the studio. I aim for at least one update a month. However, I also do try to schedule a month off from time-to-time, too. When I do post new work it tends to sell out quick, which is great for me, but frustrating for you. I'm working on making more, but this will come with time. Thanks for your patience!
I almost always have shop updates during the weekdays at 8pm, est. Being on your device a few minutes before the launch will prepare you to refresh your browser when 8:00 pm arrives. ApplePay and PayPal are the fastest check-out methods I have experienced. If you are a repeat buyer, your information should already be saved. Hopefully you already know which piece you want so you can scoop it up quickly. I don't recommend putting more than one item in your cart because it takes more time and you may be left with nothing to buy. Again, when I get more time to work I will add things spontaneously to my shop. Just be on the lookout on Instagram.
I'm a DRW Collector, how do I ensure my wares last a lifetime?
Metals soften over time and the harder you are on your jewelry the easier for the piece to break. But, I get it, we get attached to our jewelry in ways that feel symbolic and treasured. Make sure to take care of your pieces over the years and you will get a lot of mileage and even lifetimes out of wares from me. Be sure to look at your Care Card when your new piece arrives in the mail. And if you ever have questions about your piece, please reach out via email.
I over-loved my precious DRW piece, do you repair or replace broken wares?
Yes and no. Each piece of jewelry I make is an original, and while I can technically make another, it'll never quite be the same. Additionally, a great deal of time and effort goes into each piece and why I include a Care Card with each order. With that said, life happens, and a well loved piece of metal wares out over time. If your beloved piece becomes damaged or in need of love, I would prefer to repair it for you.
There will be a charge for the repair, shipping and handling. With that said, I make my pieces to last, and on the rare occasion you have to send back your ware to be fixed, and I believe in some way I could have prevented the need in the initial creation — In that case, shipping and repair is on me! Please send me an email and include photos so I can assess how best to proceed.
I work mostly with sterling silver, but I love to mix it up with gold, copper and sometimes brass. It is important to me as a metalsmith to use as much reclaimed and recycled materials as I can. When purchasing you will be able to read how the piece was made and I almost always make my pieces with metal that has been recycled or reclaimed by my own two hands.
I do take a small batch of monthly commission requests when time allows. So, if you are wanting something from me and not sure if you should ask, please do ask! If you are a serious inquiry, please complete THIS FORM. Sometimes I'm so swamped I may ask you to reach back out to me in the slower months, which are January, February, and March. If I am able to make a custom piece for you, I require a deposit and the turnaround time can be 4-5 weeks. I don't do wholesale orders at this time and I don't repair jewelry that wasn't made by me.

I'm working on this, but at this time, I'm not teaching. My husband and I are planning to make the studio comfortable enough to accommodate no more than three students. Give me a year or two, but it's coming.
