Hello!

My name is Katie Cahn and this is my jewelry shop. I am based out of the Southern Appalachian Blue Ridge Mountains in the Carolinas. I am a mother to a beautiful and curious daughter, wife to a hard working craftsman, sometimes fly fishing guide, and a lover of all things found in nature. 

I started making jewelry in 2017 in a small studio in my living room/kitchen. After three years as a special education teacher, and then some health issues, I felt like I needed a job that not only fueled my creative brain, but would allow me to heal. I took a local beginner's metalsmithing workshop, bought all the tools and then trial and errored myself into a one woman show career. 

As an avid angler I find inspiration in wildness. I spend a lot of time with the birds and fish and that comes out in my work. With the support of my family, friends and the people that love my jewelry, I have found myself here.
