BY DANIEL EVAN WEDDLE
"When you begin to stack the panes of glass the surface begins to mimic that of water and does not readily reveal all the details of what lies beneath. At certain angles and in certain light the fish can disappear completely in a reflective glare that even the best polarized lenses can't compensate for. In low light the colors deepen and shadows from foreground details are cast into the background doubling lines and shapes. Except at the most extreme glancing angle the viewer can see themselves in the piece."
