I love these. They are so much prettier in person and they have a playful grace to them on the ear. I like to think of them as a waterwheel.
When I was younger I always wanted to get on a waterwheel and ride it. One day, in my mid 20s, that happened during a photoshoot. I thought it was secured from moving, but I was wrong... way wrong!
I managed to jump to safety before going upside down. Let's just say it was not as fun as I thought it would be. Now I admire them from afar, forever in awe of their grace and function.
Oxidized then burnished to make a well balanced finish, so they shine.
Made from recycled and reclaimed sterling — one of a kind, twisted, bent, set, sawn, stamped, fired by my own two hands.
Part of the proceeds from this collection will go to the Chattooga Conservancy to help keep the Chattooga River wild and scenic.
