Silver, brass and copper raindrops accompany a bookmatched pair of a beautifully unique cut of Royston Ribbon turquoise to make one hell of a pair of earrings. Lightweight and built to last. These are a special pair of earrings and represent a time of lessons learned. I, the maker, am excited to see who gets them.
***I made these earrings during the week Tropical Storm Fred hit western North Carolina. The rivers raged and towns were flooded. A lot of people lost their homes and properties. The rivers have so much trash and debris on the banks and river bottom that efforts to clean up will take years. All of the proceeds from the sale of these earrings will go to the efforts of the companies and conservancies that will sponsor river clean-up events in and around the area that was flooded during the storm.
