Oh, the beauty of Montana Agate. These stones take on the light so beautifully. Montana agates are found in the Yellowstone River Valley and on up to the border of North Dakota. The patterns within the rock are made of elements such as iron and manganese. Double hooped design with prong settings. They go perfectly with anything or nothing at all. You'll love, I promise.
They each weigh .24 ounces, so I categorize them as medium weight on my scale of weight. I work hard to make sure the earrings I make are as light as possible.
Due to the nature of agate, it is common to see "checks or cracks" within the polished rock. These stones aren't the highest quality of Montana agate, but still beautiful nonetheless.
