An ode to my Great Aunt Iris who grew the prettiest Irises. As a kid I remember riding by her house and seeing flowers all over her yard. It reminded me of Fruity Pebbles, but a healthier version. Aunt Iris is long passed now, but there are still irises growing in the ditch by her old house. What a welcoming site! To get to Great Aunt Iris's house, I had to drive over a few mountains to get to the foothills so the mountains represent the journey. Love.
